I just finished the quasi-blazer cardigan, or quasi-cardigan blazer:
it has pockets!
The fabric says ‘cardigan’; the collar and sleeve buttons say ‘blazer’. The neckline says ‘needs some work’, but that’s why you sew multiples of things, so that the very last one is perfect. I accept less than perfect, though.
it also has quasi-buttons in a quasi-straight line!
Can a button be said to be a button if it does not fasten? I suppose so. Usually I am strictly opposed to the non-functional button as it appears on so many jackets, but I thought it only fitting that my quasi garment had quasi-buttons. My magnum cardiganus opus is therefore logically consistent, which I hope you all appreciate.
