georgia trippecanoe and pictures too

Seth and I were in Georgia all last week. You know, just hanging out. In Helen, which is a fabulously strange town. It was given a ‘bavarian’ updo in the late 1960s, to attract tourists, and boy did it work! We went there, after all. We rented a little cabin for the week, and were so surprised to find it was already inhabited by a myriad of creatures/ creature parts:

scruffy deer

sleek deer, warmed by the fire

lofted critters, frozen mid-action

critter who looks beat... or newly shot

my personal favorite

Christmas was not over yet for our little bavarian town, a fact suggested by the two enormously wonderful trees in the center of town.

there does appear to be a tree under there
