economics brings out my juvenile sense of humor
Obviously. Why else would I chuckle to myself as I read this line in the dense economics article I’m slogging through at work: “Using percentiles as the finest quantile partition, we obtain 100! possible different permutationally-generated impact distributions.”
Unfortunately, the authors are refering to the factorial of 100. They’re not channeling Robin in the vein of: ‘Holy cow, Batman! 100!’ Though god knows I wish they were.
